		<description>I absolutely agree on the preparation and planning! I am a huge garage sale fanatic, love shopping and hosting garage sales. I usually spend about 4 weeks preparing for my sale, I have kids so I always have a lot of stuff to sell! At my last sale, I made $1000 and the year before that $1300.

Make sure your items are nice and presented in an attractive manner. Be sure to advertise, I always put an ad in my local paper which is where most of my customers come from. You can also put out flyers, tell all of your friends (online and off:), craig&#039;s list or other online community sites.
